BBC’s Spy in the Wild was captured with 34 different cameras disguised as animatronic creatures–a painstaking process that took months to create and paid great care with behavioral patterns of the real animals they were mimicking.

“You have to make them functional, practical and beautiful,” producer Rob Pilley explains to Televisual.
