Editor Vashi Nedomansky details his workflow for cutting Sharknado 2: The Second One, which he did on Adobe Premiere Pro CC in just 6 weeks, all while integrating his Premiere Pro project into a Final Cut Pro 7 workflow.
He writes, "The second and equally important reason I edited Sharknado 2 was to learn the inner workings of [film studio] The Asylum. I wanted to know how they release around 25 films a year, with budgets less than $1,000,000 and have never lost money on a film.
