announced that its tenth annual conference and exhibition will return to the Los Angeles Convention Center, where it will run from November 12 – 17, 2006. Focusing on HD, traditional video infrastructures and the emergence of non-traditional distribution channels, Digital Video Expo is committed to providing up-to-the-minute information on tools, techniques and technologies to the professional digital video community.
Kicking off with Apple certification training and Avid software classes for DV professionals, Digital Video Expo will present a week of sessions on such topics as after effects, audio, business webcasting, cameras, HD graphics, lighting, motion graphics, podcasting, and studio techniques, along with business and legal classes. This year’s event also features free special events that are open to all attendees, including Apple- and Sony-sponsored sessions; and an Audio & Plug-In Pavilion.
In addition, Digital Video Expo is proud to host HDV House, which offers filmmakers, videographers and editors advice on HDV production and post, from acquisition through delivery. As one of the most popular events at the Sundance and Slamdance Film Festivals, HDV House is a highlight of Digital Video Expo, and is free to all attendees.
