Post house Digital Domain helped deliver the visual effects that are part of Spike Jonze’s mesmerizing three-and-a-half-minute perfume ad for Kenzo World.
The ad features model and actress Margaret Qualley doing a wild and energetic dance as she makes her way through a fancy building, all while casually shooting laser beams from her fingers and, finally, leaping through an enormous floral eye.
“It’s always great collaborating with Spike, and assisting him to achieve the vision of his storytelling,” VFX supervisor Janelle Croshaw told Animation World Network. “The infinity mirror shot was probably the hardest paint/environment shot I’ve seen in a long time.”
