Video delivery company Concurrent has announced the launch of a new webinar series that will explore the state, trends, and future of multiscreen video delivery and monetization technologies. The series will focus on the opportunities and challenges facing multichannel video service providers as they expand their existing video service offerings and extend their reach beyond the set-top box to serve a new array of video playback devices.

The first webinar entitled, “Expand Your Video On-Demand Library Without Breaking the Bank” will offer insight into how service providers can employ content delivery network (CDN) technology to dramatically expand their classic VOD content libraries and grow video revenues, while simplifying maintenance activities and reducing infrastructure costs. This webinar will highlight the topics operators need to consider when deciding how to address growing content requirements and combat fierce competition from over-the-top (OTT) video services. Participants will be provided with recommendations on how to build a more scalable and flexible video architecture that can both meet the needs of today and create a foundation for delivering next generation video services to any screen, over any network.

The free webinar will take place on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 2pm ET. Tom Rogers, senior system architect at Concurrent will host the discussion. SIgn up here.
