Sean Gelles of EContent Magazine writes about the newly launched Neilsen Twitter TV Rating and why it's harder to measure the social activity on Facebook, even though Facebook is the more popular social network.

He writes, "Why would a mass medium like TV find its inaugural social media partner in a niche medium like Twitter? Why would it not turn instead to Facebook, which is not only the top social networking site in the U.S., but the top social networking site in the world? The answer to these questions is twofold."
