Designed to meet the needs of digital content creators working with 2D, 3D and digital footage, the new BOXX 4200 is a cost-effective and powerful single-processor Pentium 4 workstation that features the performance and upgradeability designers and artists need when working with popular CAD and animation software. The 8200 series of workstations take power and performance to the next level with dual-processor configurations that afford anyone working with digital content such as animators and digital video editors to take advantage of a two processor configuration to streamline productivity and increase workflow. Both the 4200 and 8200 workstations give customers vast speed improvements and greater system bandwidth with the new PCI Express technology and DDR2.
The BOXX 8200 series of workstations offer next-generation Xeon processors, Intel E7525 chipsets, DDR2, PCI Express graphics cards and serial ATA or SCSI storage. Other features include:
• Support for EM64T memory technology
• 400MHz dual-channel ECC DDR2
