The competition grants fans fans access to a wide range of uncut footage from the official music videoof Imagine Dragons’ hit song “Believer.” Using these clips and Premiere Pro, aspiring video creators and professionals alike can cut their own original version, to be judged by notable names in editing and entertainment including the band itself, Matt Eastin (director and editor of the “Believer” music video), two-time Academy Award winner Angus Wall (who edited films like Fight Club), and award-winning music video editor Vinnie Hobbs (who has worked with artists like Kendrick Lamar and Britney Spears).
Bonus prizes of $1,000 each and a year-long Creative Cloud subscription for four special categories will also be awarded:
- Best Young Creator: The best up and coming editor under 25 years old
- Best Short Form: The most impressive video that’s 30-60 seconds long
- Fan Favorite: The most liked video by fans on the Adobe Creative Cloud YouTube channel
- Most Unexpected
One special prize of $2,500, a year-long subscription to Creative Cloud and 25 Adobe Stock credits will go to the music video with the best use of supplied Adobe Stock clips.
