Stunning VR Film ‘Allumette’ Came About From”Thinking Natively in Virtual Reality”

Wired says Penrose Studios’ Allumette “puts you inside a world you don’t want to leave.” The animated VR experience lets you explore a gorgeous virtual city as a story based on Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Little Match Girl” unfolds.

“Six degrees of freedom is huge,” Allumette writer and director Eugene Chung tells Wired. “It adds so much to what we call ‘presence,’ which in many ways is the holy grail of virtual reality. How do we move and think in this medium? Allumette is about thinking natively in virtual reality.”
