The HC-HD300 is a flexible docking-style camera that represents Ikegami’s most affordable HD studio camera system. Ready for the studio or field, it features a newly-developed 1/3-inch 3-CMOS optical block design in keeping with the image quality and rugged construction of the broadcast-ready Unicam HD line. Ideal for broadcast TV stations, as well as applications in education, corporate video and houses of worship, the HC-HD300 may be used with a newly developed camera control system consisting of the FA-300 Fiber Adapter and BSF-300 Base Station, utilizing OpticalCON DUO connectors for its fiber camera cable connection.
JVC Professional Products
JVC Professional Products’ 4KCAM product line launched with three handheld camera models. The GY-LS300 (MSRP $4,450, available in March) features JVC’s 4K Super 35mm CMOS sensor and a Micro Four Thirds lens mount to accept a variety of interchangeable lenses. It records to SDHC and SDXC media cards in a variety of image formats including 4K Ultra HD, Full HD with 4:2:2 sampling, SD and web-friendly proxy formats.
The GY-HM200 (MSRP $2,995, available in February) is a versatile, full-featured 4K Ultra HD camcorder with HD streaming. The GY-HM170 (MSRP $2,495, available in February) delivers 4K Ultra HD imagery in an economical, palm-sized camera with professional features.
This tilt-shift prime is made especially to cover the full frame of DSLR cameras. With a 28mm focal length, the Schneider-Kreuznach PC-TS Super-Angulon 4.5/28 provides an image circle of 72mm. Allowing 12mm of lateral shift, 8 degrees of tilt angle and 360 degrees rotation, this optic provides outstanding perspective correction without compromise. The lens comes in Nikon or Canon mount or may be special ordered for Sony Alpha or Pentax. It comes with an integrated lens hood. MSRP is $8,288 and it is available now.
