Pronology Streamlines Production for 'America's Got Talent'

The production team for the competition series America’s Got Talent relies on Pronology’s asset management system to streamline the movement and organization of media clips produced for each episode. The Pronology ingest controller creates low-resolution proxy files, which users can access through a web browser, and the files—automatically organized by show, day and performer in a folder structure—are frame-accurate to the high-resolution originals stored in the show’s Avid and EVS systems.

According to Zach Jarosz, senior vice president of postproduction for FremantleMedia, which produces the show for NBC, the system “provides a simple interface for us that streamlines the task of allowing our producers, who are scattered all over the world, to view the days and days of rehearsal recordings in a cloud-based system.”
