Outlander showrunner Ronald D. Moore talks to The Wrap about bringing a beloved book series to life.

"You have to trust your own instinct as you're telling a story," he says. "Starz told us from the beginning to make the show for the fans. So from the very beginning, I wanted to do a faithful adaptation and to do something that was true to the material, deliver this story to a lot of people who already love it and everyone else who joined in would be swept along with everyone else. With that in mind, we just tried our best to deliver on that.”
