Wednesday, October 1

11:00am - 12:15pm: Integrating DSLRs into a Cinema EOS Production

Learn how to use Canon DSLRs in conjunction with Canon Cinema EOS digital cinema cameras for all levels of production. Discover how to optimize both production and post-production workflows when using the wide range of Canon cameras. Cover the true strengths of the Canon DSLRs and how they can complement the Cinema EOS series.

12:30pm - 1:45pm: Quick Start: EOS C300 for Documentary and Event Filmmakers

Learn how the Canon EOS C300 complements the run-and-gun nature of documentary and event filmmaking. This class will examine the essential camera settings all documentary and event filmmakers need to know, and look at some essential third party accessories for rigging and audio that are sure to make production easier.

3:15pm - 4:30pm: Demo by Candlelight: Examining the Low Light Performance of Cinema EOS

Participate in a series of low light obstacle courses as the EOS C100 and EOS C300 flex their light sensitive sensors. Watch as the cameras are pushed to their limits to create beautiful and practically lit low-light scenes. Learn the endless possibilities of the Cinema EOS low light technology, and discover new sources of light you may have never imagined.

All productions are fast; however some must be faster. Dive into the "Custom Picture" menu of Cinema EOS and learn how to build an in-camera look in a matter of hours instead of days in post.

University of Louisville Completes State-of-the-Art Control Room Build With Systems Integration by BeckTV

BeckTV, one of the United States' premier design-build systems integrators, served as the systems integrator for the control room build at the new University of Louisville (UofL) Athletics Broadcast Center in Louisville, Kentucky. The state-of-the-art, 7,850-square-foot television production facility, which opened its doors in September 2018, is designed to house all of the equipment and personnel necessary to originate live programming for the comprehensive linear and digital ACC Network, which will be launched by the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and ESPN in 2019.
