New Music Video Uses Physical Elements to Visualize Sound Frequencies

Director Shahir Daud experiments with cymatics--the visualization of sound frequencies--in his music video for Nigel Stanford's "Cymatics." The video came about as a collaboration between Daud and Stanford and the music was actually written after filming.

From sand on a metal plate to water on a speaker, the team really worked to hone the elements that would create the most exciting visuals.
