Music, Video: Atmospheric Short from The xx is Also a Calvin Klein Ad

"The band worked with Simons and a whole host of recent Calvin Klein faces for this production."
Publish date:

The latest music video from band The xx, "I Dare You," brings together the rock trio and Calvin Klein for a combined music and corporate video.

"Created by Calvin Klein's chief creative officer, Raf Simons, and photographer and filmmaker Alasdair McLellan, who directed The xx's previous videos for 'On Hold and 'Say Something,' a statement from the brand said Simons saw 'a connection between the videos and his own work,'" explains Gillian West.

This "latest visual is another intimate collage of the band mixed with scenes of youth," says Jake Boyer. "The band worked with Simons and a whole host of recent Calvin Klein faces for this production, producing something that is at once dreamy and familiar."
