Michael Goi on Sustaining the Signature Look of 'American Horror Story'

"Part of the signature look is attributable to the fact that we do shoot on film," says director of photography Michael Goi about the look achieved on American Horror Story: Hotel.

"I love shooting on film. For me, there's a richness and a texture," he continues in the video below. "We can create a lot of different looks and a lot of different styles at the time we shoot it by choosing which different film stocks we use, by choosing how we process that film stock."
