Marmot Turns Time-Lapse into Viral Video for Greenpeace

This simple viral video of a marmot licking a GoPro turns into a perfect ad for Greenpeace via the "About" section of its YouTube page, directing users to sign a petition protecting public parks from coal mining.

They write, "This Marmot would like to give you a kiss for helping to save its home!...In Glacier National Park, global warming is melting glaciers and shrinking the alpine tundra environment as treelines move higher up the mountains. Shrinking tundra threatens marmots and other animals that live up high in these mountains."

The producers say they were shooting a time-lapse with their GoPro, when a marmot interrupted to have a taste.
