The Los Angeles Post Production Group will be showcasing the post production workflow for the soon-to-be-released feature film, Gone Girl at their October 8th Meeting at 7pm at Crossroads School in Santa Monica.

This workflow presentation will take place less than a week from the release of the feature film, David Fincher¹s latest. Gone Girl, starring Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike, Neil Patrick Harris, and Tyler Perry, employes the most advanced technical workflows of any film ever produced to date. It marks the first 6K real-time review pipeline in any feature film production.

Post production engineer Jeff Brue and assistant editor Tyler Nelson will discuss the challenges of shooting in 6K on the RED Dragon camera and the streamlined workflow featuring Adobe Premiere Pro CC powered by HP Z Workstations with Intel Xeon processors and NVIDIA Next-Gen Quadro GPUs.

"The work being done on David Fincher's highly anticipated Gone Girl is the leading edge of digital production," explains Woody Woodhall, Co-Founder of the Los Angeles Post Production Group. "We¹re ecstatic that our members will be among the first to see the workflow developed by one of the premiere post teams working in Hollywood today."
