Inside the Intricate Stop-Motion World of 'Anomalisa'

Charlie Kaufman and Duke Johnson's stop-motion animated film Anomalisa tells the story of a motivational speaker (voiced by David Thewlis) whose life is changed by a chance meeting during a hotel convention.

"This was a very challenging film to make," Johnson says in the behind-the-scenes featurette below.

"I wanted it to be emotional and small and realistic," adds Kaufman. "I thought that would be an interesting stop-motion animated movie."
