'The Hunt' Filmmaker Takes a Page from Dramatic Narratives for Nature Series

Wildlife filmmaker Alastair Fothergill talks to TBI Vision about making his series The Hunt, which looks at predatory animals from the point-of-view of both the hunters and the prey.

Says Fothergill, "Natural history predator sequences are such a cliché, so we thought, ‘let’s look at a chase in a drama narrative and think if [The Hunt] can be shot it in the same way,’ – to give those sequences the mood of a murder in a drama series. It is still a wildlife film, but photographed in a way that is cinematic and dramatic.”

DaVinci Resolve Studio is being used in BYUtv’s three 4K grading rooms located at BYU Broadcasting, on the school’s Provo, Utah campus.
