Digital Cinema Society's Chris Chinnock explains high dynamic range and how it might impact the business for content creators.

He writes, "Will content creators embrace HDR? It is a new creative pallette so it will take time to understand the benefits and creative possibilities, as well as changes in production techniques, but the answer is yes. As we have seen, the cameras are already capturing HDR content, so it is more of a decision to master and distribute in HDR. Catalog content will also be upgraded to HDR. M-Go, for example, says they will have dozens of HDR movies and TV shows at launch later in 2015."
