NewBay Media has announced several educational and training programs for the thousands of content creation professionals who will be attending Government Video Expo at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC, from December 3rd – 5th, 2013.
“Government Video Expo attendees are incredibly well-educated in industry-leading applications, tools, techniques, and hardware, which compels us to present a truly world-class training program that’s designed to elevate their skills to the next level,” said Carmel King, NewBay Media Executive Vice President. “With that in mind, we’re proud to announce our most comprehensive conference program to date, offering training and education options for video, TV, film and new media professionals.”
The Government Video Expo conference schedule is comprised of the following programs:
DC POST | PRODUCTION CONFERENCE: Produced by Future Media Concepts (FMC), this three-day event focuses on the evolving roles and tools in the post-production process. Three tracks provide in-depth sessions on editing applications (Adobe CS, Apple Final Cut Pro, and Avid Media Composer), and a variety of important topics such as social media strategy for post-production pros.
Highlights include full-day seminars and workshops on Color Correction & Grading; Lighting, Shooting & Conducting Interviews; Video Compression; Adobe Creative Cloud; Motion Graphics; Post Production Techniques and Secrets; as well as day long tracks focused on video production, and specialized sessions for producers/directors.
In addition, attendees can take the two-day Premiere Pro for Experienced Editors hands-on class that leads to certification.
PRO MEDIA CONFERENCE: Introduced at last year’s Government Video Expo, the Pro Media Conference offers the latest information and techniques for those working in government-related media operations. Presentations will include discussions of new technologies, as well as targeted looks at creating, managing and delivering content for government agencies.
