Capturing the elegant, complex martial arts at the heart of new AMC series Into the Badlands wouldn't have been possible without a 14-camera set-up and, especially, the Freefly MoVI according to cinematographer Shane Hurlbut.

"This is the beauty of being able to react to what the actors are doing, to be able to capitalize on incredible moments that aren’t so rehearsed," Hurlbut tells Wired. "David Dobkin, our director, had never used the MoVI before, and within the first four hours he was like, ‘OK, I’m never doing any project without this device.'"
