FOX Creates Fake Crime Show to Promote Second Season of 'The Following'

FOX has found a clever way to bring viewers up to speed on the first season of The Following and promote tune-in for the upcoming second season via a fake crime newsmagazine show called Scene of the Crime.

The two-part YouTube videos take the format of a crime show with "archival footage," news reports, photos, and interviews with the likes of investigator Ryan Hardy (played by Kevin Bacon). Watch below.
