Flying Robot International Film Festival Announces Winners

The Flying Robot International Film Festival, a festival dedicated to drone videography, has announced the winners of this year's program.

“There was absolutely a higher level in quality in films this year,” FRiFF founder Eddie Codel tells iQ. “With more drone in the hands of new and experienced filmmakers, we’re seeing the natural result of that expansion.”

The winner for Best in Show and also the WTF LOL category was "Moon Line."

In the Drones for Good category, the winner was "Zipline in Rwanda."

In the Promotions category, the winner was "Digitized 2016 - Opening Titles."

Audience Choice (picked via Twitter votes) and Epic Landscape were both won by "Drone Poem: Always Take The Window Seat."

"The Drone" won for Cinematic Narrative.

"This is Chapman" won the student film category.

The FPV/Aerial Sports category was won by The First Racing Drone In Chernobyl.

"Robot Quadrotors Perform James Bond Theme" won in the I Made That! category.
