Not only is the UK's new musical wonder.land an updated version of Alice in Wonderland, but it has an accompanying experience which uses the latest in cutting-edge technology.
The exhibition, called enter wonder.land, features virtual reality, augmented reality, and motion capture technologies and was created by creative technology studio Play Nicely. The free exhibit runs in the National Theatre from 12 p.m. each day through April.
"We love surprising an audience and find that doing so increases the power of the message or narrative," Play Nicely director Oliver Lindsey tells Digital Arts Online. "The challenge was to create an entirely new audience experience beyond the auditorium which allows visitors to feel physically part of the wonder.land world."
