In the below video, Max Yuryev runs a number of tests to try to dispel the myth that Mac's OS is inherently better at handling video editing than Windows. Yuryev runs several identical tasks through Adobe Premiere Pro and times the rendering process.

As he says, "I've heard from multiple people that Mac computers are better for creative things...I don't know where that started from but it doesn't seem to make sense because Macs use the same exact parts as PCs, just different operating systems."
