U.S. Army Signs ManTech for IT Support Contract

$151.9M deal covers IT, operational support for C4ISR systems

The U.S. Army picked ManTech International Corp., a technology and solution provider for national security programs, for a $151.9 million contract to provide information technology support for command, control, communications and computers intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems.
During the 12-month contract ManTech is to continue to provide support for the C4ISR systems for the Army’s Field Support Division, Software Engineering Center for the Communications-Electronics Command, according to the company.
The contract covers communications, networks, databases, strategic and tactical video-teleconferencing systems, secure network sustainment support and web-based applications used by fighters and supporting organizations, ManTech says. In addition the company will provide direct unit operations support worldwide for the relevant software and systems.
“The sophistication of today’s battle space and complexity of the IT systems needed to manage it are challenging,” said Louis M. Addeo, president and chief operating officer of ManTech’s Technical Services Group.
