New systems target quick set-up, mobile productions

LAS VEGAS–RUSHWORKS has unveiled the REMO UBEREMOTE and REMO ISOTOWER production and streaming systems and TALK-TAKE video switching software at the 2016 NAB Show.

The REMO UBEREMOTE is a PTZ production and streaming system packed into a mobile chassis with a built-in 16-inch touchscreen interface and four analog or SDI inputs. The REMO ISOTOWER shares the same type of mobile production and streaming concept as the REMO UBEREMOTE, but with larger scale production abilities. The ISOTOWER has eight inputs and a choice of a 16-inch or 23-inch touchscreen, along with the ability to record a switched production and have up to eight ISO camera inputs.

Depending on the gig, REMO UBEREMOTE and REMO ISOTOWER users can choose among three different interfaces. Onscreen, the software engine shows input sources, preview and program windows, DSK window, virtual switcher display, several transitions and video effects like picture-in-picture and chroma-key.

They both record in MPEG-2 or H.264 via the Flash Media Live Encoder for streaming. Also included are Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Elements.

The TALK-TAKE video switching software uses active microphone detection to switch between preset PTZ cameras with no video operator present.

RUSHWORKS is demonstrating the new system at it NAB Show booth SL11808.
