ObjectVideo Alleges Patent Infringement by Pelco

Company is seeking damages and “injunctive relief”

ObjectVideo Inc., a producer of intelligent video software, has filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court against Pelco of Clovis, Calif.

In a statement, ObjectVideo says it is seeking damages and “injunctive relief” against Pelco “for the sale of products that contain software features and functions that infringe certain ObjectVideo patents.”

ObjectVideo’s headquarters is in Reston, Va., and the case—3:12CV363—was filed in U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Virginia, Richmond Division. Calls to ObjectVideo’s headquarters were not returned.

Pelco says its legal counsel has advised the company “not to make any statements on this subject.”
