NAB Show: Vaddio to Showcase Classroom Recording Studio System

System includes gear from Cattura, Middle Atlantic and Shure

LAS VEGAS–Vaddio, an Eden Prairie, Minn.-based developer of PTZ cameras, control systems, and other Pro AV solutions targeting the lecture capture and streaming marketplace, will showcase a new classroom recording studio solution at the 2018 NAB Show.

The recording studio combines a Vaddio AV Bridge MATRIX PRO switcher, Cattura CaptureCast, Vaddio RoboSHOT PTZ cameras, Middle Atlantic RFR series mobile rack, and Shure wireless microphones to create an end-to-end professional quality recording studio that can be used to record and stream live productions, such as lectures for higher education, corporate conferences, and house of worship events.

Based in San Antonio, Texas, Cattura’s CaptureCast is a browser-based solution with a multi-source/multi-room recorder that records users’ screens, webcams and microphones. When PCs are connected to the AV Bridge MATRIX PRO with USB, end users can bring remote classrooms into the learning environment using soft conferencing programs like Skype, Google Hangouts or Zoom, and stream the video to the Kaltura, Opencast, Panopto, and YouTube platforms.
