MONTREAL—Matrox is expanding the toolset of its Monarch LCS unit with the integration of Kaltura Lecture Capture system and the broader Kaltura Video Platform.
Users can now add Monarch devices to a network of Kaltura managed classrooms. This will allow the Monarch to be used for scheduling and management from the Kaltura Lecture Capture interface, which will tie scheduling and publication of materials. The Kaltura platform also provides a multi-stream player for playing two synchronized video files, allowing users to switch between preferred layouts during playback.
The new Monarch LCS firmware with Kaltura integration is now available to registered users as a free download from the Matrox website.
