LEVA Conference To Focus On Forensic Video Analysis

Conference will host a series of seminars run by LEVA certified forensic video analysts

SCOTTSDALE, AZ–The 27th annual Video Evidence Training Symposium sponsored by the Law Enforcement and Emergency Services Video Association will feature a mix of seminars and hands-on workshops focused on the science behind forensic video analysis and its impact on criminal justice. The symposium runs Nov. 14-18 at the Hilton Doubletree Paradise Valley in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Over the course of three days, Nov. 14-16, the Courtroom Testimony for Forensic Video Analysis seminar will examine ways to help attendees become better expert witnesses and a two-part Forensic Video Workflow Workshop will show how to access data on a DVR hard drive as well as some additional techniques expediting video analysis.

Other seminars will touch on the topics of digital image authentication, audio forensics, and recovery and body cameras.

“Every year, the LEVA training symposium attracts an international group of law enforcement professionals who are looking to improve their skills and better serve their communities,” said Jan Garvin, LEVA executive director. “The LEVA conference is the only event of its type in the world, and it offers invaluable training and networking opportunities.”
