HACKETTSTOWN, N.J.—Vislink has completed its first mission as part of its contract with the U.S. Army. The company announced it has delivered the first product order that includes ruggedized, lightweight hand-held receivers for displaying real-time video imagery transmitted by aerial assets or frontline surveillance platforms.
“We are pleased to have successfully completed, shipped and delivered the first part of the Army order by the date we were obligated to deliver,” said John Payne, president and COO of Vislink. “We look forward to executing on the balance of product deliveries under the contract and appreciate the hard work of all our team members whose efforts have made it possible.”
Vislink was awarded a $2.8 million Army contract in July of this year.
