NEW YORK—Law&Crime viewers will be able to feel like they are in the courtroom as the linear and OTT trial network has announced a partnership with Littlstar that will enable virtual reality courtroom experiences. Law&Crime’s VR experience will be available through headsets with the Littlstar’s PlayStation4 application.
Through these experiences, viewers can feel like they are inside the courtroom for the network’s featured trials. Currently, Law&Crime is covering the Harvey Weinstein trial and plans to cover the trials of Robert Durst and Parkland school shooter, Nikolas Cruz.
“Viewers can now sit inside the courtroom in virtual reality, or if there is no VR headset available they can live stream it directly to their TV via PlayStation4, which currently reaches over 100 million homes,” said Tony Mugavero, CEO & co-founder of Littlstar.
Littlstar says that it plans to roll out its content to other major devices later this year.
