Following success with its Pilot Training Next program, which uses virtual reality, biometrics and artificial intelligence to help train aspiring pilots, the U.S. Air Force is looking into expanding its use of VR and other similar technologies.
In a story on Air Force Times, the new head of the Air Education and Training Command, Lt. Gen. Brad Webb, is considering new programs that will improve other forms of technical training, like how to maintain an aircraft, fly remotely piloted aircrafts or other perform other technical tasks.
