GSA Awards SecureVue a ‘Schedule 84’ Contract

Federal, state and municipal governments are now potential customers

The General Services Administration, the U.S.government’s acquisition service, has awarded SecureVue Inc., a Tampa, Fla.-based manufacturer of vandal-resistant video camera housings, a GSA Schedule 84 contract which allows it to market products to government agencies at all levels.

“This schedule opens up significantly more markets for us throughout the country,” said Donald Softness, SecureVue Inc.’s president. “Now that we are on the GSA schedule, state and municipal agencies can take advantage of our fixed government pricing,” he said.

SecureVue manufactures two primary products, stainless steel security mirrors and SecureCam, the tamper-proof camera housing. SecureCam is an impregnable ultra-heavy duty CCTV camera housing, with a poly-carbonate ballistic window, designed to completely protect cameras from physical attacks and extreme weather conditions at hostile, untended sites.
