It packs XGA resolution and 2,700 lumens output.

Aimed at on-the-go professionals and educators, it brings an advanced feature set for easy set up and operation, including USB plug-and-play for playout on both a computer and a projector screen.

It also has optional wireless add-ons for quick control and connectivity.

“It can be a challenge to have presentations look as good on the road, and be as easy to set up, as they are in the office,” said Heather Gareis, senior product manager for Epson Projection. “This projector delivers the ultimate combination of ease of use, brightness, vivid color, robust features, and portability for conference rooms, classrooms, or on-the-road, while still offering an affordable price point in order to meet today’s bottom lines.”

The “Instant On/Off” feature means just 6 seconds between pressing the Power button and seeing a startup screen. And it powers down in four seconds, enabling quick pack-up without a cool-down period

It requires just a short throw distance; a 60-inch image can be projected from a distance of about 4 feet.
