Date Set for House Hearing on Freeing Up Government Spectrum

More efficient government use of spectrum the focus

The date of a House of Representatives’ Communications and Technology Subcommittee hearing on how to free more federal spectrum for commercial use has been scheduled for Sept. 13, 2012 at 10:15 a.m. in room 2123 of the RayburnHouseOfficeBuilding. “The subcommittee will continue to examine how both federal agencies and commercial wireless carries might benefit from more efficient government use of spectrum,” says Subcommittee Chairman Greg Walden, R-Ore. Witnesses have not been announced.
