New Zealand Farmers Fight Sheep Rustlers With Hidden Cams

In the Hawke's Bay area, more than 300 sheep have been stolen this year.

Stealing sheep is no small matter in New Zealand, and in some region’s it’s reaching epidemic proportions, a local paper reports.

So, according to the Dominion Post, farmers are using cameras on roads and considering the use of mobile hidden cameras.

In one case, men were caught in a car with 14 hidden sheep. In the Hawke’s Bay area, more than 300 sheep have been stolen this year, the paper reports.
