Eden FX Contributes Over 150 FX Shots to “Get Smart,” # 1 Film in U.S.

Hollywood, CA, June 23, 2008 — Eden FX, a Hollywood-based creator of visual effects for feature films, television programs and commercials, has contributed a number of digital visual effects for “Get Smart,” currently the # 1 film in the U.S. with an opening weekend gross of over $ 39-million. Eden FX co-founders Mark Miller and John Gross made the announcement.


For client Warner Bros., Eden FX completed 157 digital FX shots. Regarding Eden’s work, Joe Bauer, VFX Supervisor for Warner Bros. on “Get Smart,â€? said, “’Get Smart’ had some tricky stuff. With Eden FX, we knew right away we were in good hands. As sequences grew and became more elaborate- as they tend to do- Eden’s team thrilled us with their professionalism and ability to meet our budget and time deadlines. Starring Steve Carrell as “Maxwell Smart,� Agent 86 for CONTROL, “Get Smart� features Smart as he battles the forces of KAOS with Agent 99 (Anne Hathaway) at his side. The film is directed by Peter Segal and was released on June 20, 2008, by Warner Bros.


Formed in 2000 by visual effects and post-production notables John Gross and Mark Miller, Eden FX specializes in 3D animation, compositing, 3D matte painting, character animation and on-set supervision.
