Kinects Used to Film Maccabees Music Video
Directors Jamie Roberts and Will Hanke are the latest to use hacked Kinect cameras to create unique videos. They just shot footage of indie band The Macabees for a 15-minute music session to premiere on Vevo.
Explains Wired UK, "Featuring ten Kinect cameras in total, the rig was designed by visual artist and coder James Alliban. The Maccabees will play three songs during the session at a warehouse in east London, with the cameras recording every conceivable angle -- that data will be imported into Maya in post-processing to create a fully 3D model of the band's performance."
