Rochester, NY, April 7, 2011– Eastman Kodak Company (NYSE: EK), a world leader in photo systems and inventor of the Photo Kiosk category, announced that it is participating in Universal Pictures multimillion dollar integrated marketing and advertising initiative in support of Hop. The live action/CG-animated comedy is the new release from Illumination Entertainment that follows last year’s blockbuster Despicable Me.
The announcement brings Kodak’s collaboration with Universal Pictures into the spotlight. The live-action portions of Hop were captured by cinematographer Peter Lyons Collister, ASC on KODAK VISION3 500T Color Negative Film 5219. The final prints were made using the new KODAK VISION3 Color Digital Intermediate Film 2254.

High Resolution Systems LLC has formed a partnership with Stimulated, Inc. to introduce the X20P display control solution built around the Christie Vista Spyder X20 and High Resolution’s UDC (Universal Device Controller) software and hardware. X20P is a high efficiency, small footprint solution for display control at broadcast productions.
Stimulated introduced its Display Pipeline Consulting service to provide high efficiency workflow solutions and X20P is a prime example of what the company plans to offer.
“Broadcast productions all use LED and projection displays onstage but nobody has come forward with an efficient display control solution.
