Ross Launches Vision Series Production Switchers at NAB 2007

Ross Video announced the introduction of 5 new production switchers at NAB 2007. The Vision Series is Ross’ next generation multi-definition production switcher, handling standard and high-definition formats. Euphonix Shows New DSP SuperCore for On-air Broadcast Audio Mixing at NAB 2007

Euphonix, a world leader in large-format mixing consoles and control surfaces, will be showing the new 100% secure digital signal processing (DSP) SuperCore for its Max Air and System 5-B on-air audio mixing systems as well as the S5 Fusion HDTV audio post mixing system. First introduced at IBC in September 2006 and now shipping to clients, the DSP SuperCore can be seen in action at NAB2007 April 16-19.

The new lightweight and compact DF66 DSP SuperCore is the primary signal-processing engine and router for System 5 and Max Air digital mixing consoles. For broadcast installations, a backup DSP SuperCore runs in parallel with the primary unit – ensuring complete redundancy of the MADI I/O, router and DSP processing. Both DSP SuperCores mirror each other and, in the event the main unit fails, the processing seamlessly switches to the backup unit. more
