S.two Corp. Announce full 1080 60P and variable frame support for Take2™ DFR’s

Las Vegas, NV, 15th April 2007–S.two Corporation of Nevada, (NAB Booth SL 13805) the industry leader in on set uncompressed Digital Cinematography capture and workflow announced today at the NAB Convention in Las Vegas, full 60P support, including variable frame recording with their new Take2™ portable uncompressed DFR.

Able to record SMPTE372M the Take2™ can record 60P at all frame rates up to 60 uncompressed progressive frames per second to the D.MAG2™ a small re-useable digital film magazine.

Full support of 60P includes over and under cranking variable frame rates when used with the D20 Digital Cinematography cameras from Arriflex.

S.two Corp. Announce 4K version of award- winning proven Digital Film Recorders

Las Vegas, NV, 14th April 2007 – S.two Corporation of Nevada (NAB Booth SL 13805) the industry leader in on set uncompressed Digital Cinematography capture and workflow announced today at the NAB Convention in Las Vegas the international debut of a new 4K recorder based on the industry standard D.MAG™ digital film magazine.

“We have always stated that we would support new Digital Cinematography cameras as they come along. As they are now nearing production reality we have the recording solution that plugs into a proven workflow,” states S.two VP of Marketing Steve Roach.

Roach continued, “We have confirmed orders for new product deliveries following this show to run with Dalsa cameras as well as other 4K products as they come to market. Our product was conceived as a 4K capable platform from the beginning so this is a natural evolution of our technology adding portability, on set capabilities and proven workflow to a 4K production and editorial experience.”

HABANA AVENUE BLAZES ACROSS THE STARTING LINE WITH AEROSMITH IN NASCAR OPEN FOR ESPN

AerosmithHabana Avenue put the pedal to the metal recently when it help create Aerosmith‘s rockin‘ NASCAR season open which precedes every race broadcast on ESPN. The high-octane, 12-camera HD shoot took place during the band‘s concert gig at the MGM Grand Arena, Las Vegas.

The open, which finds Aerosmith performing its anthem of the ‘70s, “Back in the Saddle,” marks the resurgence of the iconic band and the start of a new season of NASCAR racing on ESPN.

“We did a location scout of Aerosmith‘s Nashville concert last October and had an opportunity to pitch creative to the band and its management,” says Habana Avenue creative director/executive producer, Steven J. Levy. “Aerosmith are huge NASCAR fans, and they added their input on how to tailor their show to the specific needs of NASCAR and ESPN. We were interested in shooting a big green screen behind them and the MGM Grand Arena was one of just two indoor venues that met our size requirements.” more
