Industry recognition of the deployment of PICKUP audio guides and WATCHOUT multi-image display software
Dataton technology is used by projection designer, BARTKRESA Design and systems integrator, D J Willrich (DJW) whose innovative projects have been shortlisted by the industry’s finest judges in the 15th AV Awards 2013.
BARTKRESA Design recognized for innovative projection mapping using WATCHOUT
Shortlisted for the Digital Signage Project of the Year for the Christie® InfoComm 2012 exhibition booth, BARTKRESA Design created all architectural projection mapping and design.
In speaking about the shortlist, Bart Kresa, projection designer at BARTKRESA Design, said: “On the Christie® booth at InfoComm 2012 we used Dataton WATCHOUT™ multi-image display and presentation software to manage three video feeds from Christie® Roadster S+20K and S+14K-J 3-chip DLP® projectors onto the surface of two pyramid shaped structures. Each pyramid had different and often contrasting bright, visual and moving content highlighting the capabilities of the digital projectors.
“BARTKRESA Design relies on WATCHOUT for all projects around the world and is constantly using the technology in new, exciting and creative ways,” Kresa added.
DJW shortlisted for four projects in the AV Awards 2013 that utilise Dataton WATCHOUT and PICKUP technologies
Expert systems integrator, DJW has an unrivalled four projects in the AV Awards 2013 shortlist, all of which take advantage of Dataton technology.
The View from The Shard was shortlisted in the Consumer Installation category and BP Olympics Showcase was shortlisted for the Green or Environmental Project of the Year category. The National Football Museum was shortlisted for the Consumer Installation and AV/IT Project of the Year categories. All projects completed by DJ Willrich utilize Dataton WATCHOUT.
DJW’s work at The Allison Customer Experience Center was shortlisted for the Business Installation of the Year. The project uses the combination of PICKUP™ audio guides and Dataton WATCHOUT to engage and inform audiences.
All shortlisted projects were supported by Mirage Associates, WATCHOUT Premium Partner for the UK and Ireland.

The official 15th AV Awards 2013 is run by AV Magazine and will take place at the Park Lane Hilton, London on 11 October 2013.
