After sweeping through an award season during which their Take This Lollipop interactive Facebook app earned a Daytime Emmy, Tool has struck a different kind of gold, bringing the energetic Josh Gold on as its new head of film and TV.
The multi-talented Gold, who specializes in developing film and TV properties, is a former development executive for Todd Phillips, and has ushered numerous projects for Sony Pictures Television International, NBC Studios, Warner Bros., and Miramax Films, to name a few.
As head of the TV and film division, which opened last year, Gold will use these diverse experiences to establish new material for Tool and act as a representative for its roster of directors and writers.
