XL Video for Phantom of The Opera 25th Anniversary Gala event


XL Video supplied LED screens, Video Projection, IMAG camera system, HD Playback and Control systems and crew for the spectacular celebration event marking 25 Years of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Phantom of the Opera” musical, produced by Cameron Macintosh and staged in London’s Royal Albert Hall.
The high-impact digital scenery and projections elements were designed by Jon Driscoll. He was asked onboard by the anniversary show’s designer Matt Kinley and by Cameron Macintosh’s production manager Nic Harris. Driscoll also designed the projections for Phantom sequel “Love Never Dies” which ran at the Adelphi Theatre.

Click 3X Handles Featured VFX for Third Season of HBO’s Bored to Death

When the third season of HBO’s Bored to Death debuted on Oct. 10, it featured VFX by premier postproduction studio Click 3X. Click 3X’s handiwork will be apparent from the final shot of the first episode to the opening sequence of the second episode, in which show star Jason Schwartzman finds himself hanging from the hour hand of an iconic Brooklyn clock tower as his friend Ray (played by Zach Galifianakis) comes to his rescue.

To create the scene, Click 3X was responsible for 18 shots using multiple source plates from stills to live action, from different types of cameras with the addition of completely generated CG assets. These different mediums had to live in the same space to create a seamless final composite.

Shot in a natural, homespun style, the spots offer a panoramic view of all things Omaha, emphasizing the extent to which the bank has enmeshed itself into the community.

Heartbeat is a wide-ranging montage of Omaha, panning across the city skyline, a local butcher, a firehouse, a theater, a little league game, and much more.
