Tickets Sales Open for HPA(r) Awards Gala

Celebrate Excellence in Post Production November 10th

(Los Angeles, CA) Hollywood Post Alliance(r) – the professional organization for the post production community – has opened ticket sales for the 2011 HPA Awards show, set for November 10th. The Awards recognize the achievements of those individuals who work behind the scenes, with ingenuity and creativity, to create motion pictures, commercials and television programming.

Awards will be given in 12 craft categories including color grading, editing, sound, and compositing for feature film, television and commercial. The HPA Judges Award for Creativity and Innovation in Post Production will be awarded to both Testronic Labs and Steven J. Scott of EFILM. Sony Professional Solutions, Dolby Laboratories, Lightcraft Technology and IBM will each receive the coveted Engineering Excellence Award, sponsored by NAB Show; and the Lifetime Achievement Award will go to Cyril Drabinsky, President and CEO of Deluxe Entertainment Services more

Audio-Technica Products Used for 2011 Sundance Institute Filmmakers Lab

STOW, OH, October 6, 2011 — A variety of microphones and wireless systems from Audio-Technica, a world leader in transducer technology, were used at the 2011 Sundance Institute Filmmakers Lab, held at Robert Redford’s residence in Sundance, Utah.
