Bohemian Grey Produces Dramatic Animated Sequences Depicting NASA’s Upcoming Mars “Curiosity” Rover Expedition

Granada Hills, CA, Aug. 5, 2011 — Bohemian Grey Inc., a leader in the creation and production of animation, visualization and visual effects for film, television, educational and government projects, has produced a short animated film depicting the planned exploits of NASA’s newest robotic explorer, the Mars Science Laboratory’s “Curiosity” Rover. NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), (which is managed by The California Institute of Technology in Pasadena for NASA), is planning to launch this new rover, slated to explore Mars, this November.

ANIMATION MENTOR ATTENDING SIGGRAPH 2011

Cofounder Carlos Baena to Attend

Emeryville, CA, August 5, 2011 – Animation Mentor, the state-of-the-art online animation school founded by animators for animators, announced today that cofounder Carlos Baena will be attending SIGGRAPH 2011. Animation Mentor is inviting students and artists to visit their booth to meet Baena. Baena, an animator at Pixar Animation Studios, has worked on “Finding Nemo,” “The Incredibles,” “Cars,” “Ratatouille,” “WALL-E” and “Toy Story 3.” Baena received a 2007 Annie Award nomination for Best Character Animation for “Cars.” In “Toy Story 3,” Baena animated the suave and debonair Spanish Buzz Lightyear.

“This is a really good opportunity to meet up with great artists and students from all over,” says Baena. “I’m excited to share my experiences as an animator/artist as well as learn what inspires this generation of animators.”
